FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

No. While our aim is to help raise money for non-profit organisations, we are also devoted to helping anyone earn extra income.

Non profit organisations can have up to a maximum of 65% of turnover going to running costs. This means that only 35% goes to the cause. We are aiming to keep running costs at a maximum of 45% of turnover. Our transaction and processing fees will be 8% and that leaves 47% for affiliates.

The ultimate aim is a reliable source of income for anyone in need. Times have become tough and many households are single income households. If we can help make a difference, then we have achieved what we set out to achieve. We ask you to support our affiliates by signing up through an affiliate link. This way not only will your own suppers be sorted, but you are sorting out suppers for someone else as well!

Another big consideration for us is that  we are not asking for a once off donation, but a monthly commitment. And thus we want to ensure that our subscribers get more worth back than they are giving each month.  As a non profit, we may be restricted.

We have plans to bring on discount partners and numerous benefits to our subscribers

For more information about our decision,  please watch the following TED Talk: The way we think about charity is dead wrong.”

The system is only set up for credit/debit card payments. It is a recurring payment that is managed by PayPal. Collecting money is an expensive exercise. Our aim is to keep costs as low as possible to users and to be able to give as much of the subscription fees to the cause, instead of money collection and bank fees. The credit card facility is safe, cost effective and convenient.

The main goal of Supper Sorted is to have a platform that helps those in need to be able to generate a recurring monthly income through referrals. When we started our affiliate program with a few non-profit organisations we noted that many have supporters worldwide and thus an international payment gateway was necessary.

But its not only for organisations. Our affiliate plan is open to anyone who wants to earn an extra recurring monthly income. Our main goals are to keep our prices as low and possible and our payout commission % to affiliates as high as possible. In order for us to do this we recognised that PayPal is the best option.

This means that you will need to set up a PayPal account at checkout, but that is a very simple process, and you probably already have a PayPal account. Once set up you can then sign up as an affiliate and earn monthly income by just telling others about Supper Sorted. Or you can help your favourite charity by setting them up as an affiliate and sharing their link.

Meal kits that supply all your ingredients are great, but not suitable for everyone. Most people have specific needs or individual tastes and buying the groceries means you can change things if need be.

Meal kits that deliver the foods for you, are convenient, but you do not get to choose your own groceries and that is important for me and I think that is something that will be important to others too.
