Ingredients
- 1 medium head of cauliflower
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 garlic cloves minced
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp cumin powder
- salt and pepper to taste
- fresh coriander for garnish (optional)
Instructions
Preheat the Oven:
- Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F) and position the rack in the middle.
Prepare the Cauliflower:
- Wash the cauliflower and remove the leaves and stem. Cut it into small florets.
Season the Cauliflower:
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the cauliflower florets, minced garlic, paprika, cumin powder, salt, and pepper.
- Drizzle the olive oil over the cauliflower and toss everything together until the florets are evenly coated with the seasonings and oil.
Arrange on Baking Sheet:
- Spread the seasoned cauliflower florets in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Make sure they are not crowded to allow for even roasting.
Roast in the Oven:
- Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and roast for about 25 minutes or until the cauliflower is tender and golden brown. You can check for doneness by inserting a fork into a floret; it should go in easily.
Serve:
- Once the cauliflower is roasted to your liking, remove it from the oven. Garnish with fresh parsley or cilantro if desired.
Enjoy:
- Serve your roasted cauliflower hot as a side dish or as a healthy snack. It's delicious on its own or with a dipping sauce of your choice.Feel free to adjust the seasonings to your taste preferences, and enjoy your delicious roasted cauliflower!
