Meatballs
- 500 g beef mince
- 1/4 almond flour
- 1/4 Parmesan cheese grated
- 1/4 fresh parsley chopped
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp onion powder
- 1 egg large
Garlic butter Sauce
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 4 garlic cloves minced
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley chopped
- salt to taste
- pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground meat, almond flour, grated Parmesan cheese, chopped parsley, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and the egg. Mix everything together until well combined.
- Shape the mixture into small meatballs, roughly 4cm in diameter. This should yield approximately 20 meatballs.
- Place the meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, leaving some space between each one.
- Bake the meatballs in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until they are cooked through and have a golden-brown crust.
- While the meatballs are baking, prepare the garlic butter sauce. In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the unsalted butter. Add the minced garlic and cook for about 2-3 minutes, or until the garlic is fragrant but not browned.
- Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the chopped parsley. Season the sauce with salt and pepper to taste.
- Once the meatballs are done baking, remove them from the oven and transfer them to a serving platter.
- Pour the garlic butter sauce over the meatballs, ensuring they are well coated.
